Movies I've Watched More Than Once

Here are thirteen movies that I've watched more than once and will likely watch again... and again... and again.

  1. The Princess Bride

  2. The Big Chill

  3. Miracle on 34th Street (the original)

  4. Thelma & Louise

  5. Alladin

  6. The Sound of Music

  7. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir

  8. The Cowboys

  9. Field of Dreams

  10. Ocean's Eleven (Brad Pitt and George Clooney, it doesn't get much better than that.)

  11. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Paul Newman and Robert Redford = better than that.)

  12. Pretty Woman

  13. The Santa Clause

Whenever I think of "The Princess Bride", one word comes to mind... "inconceivable!"

"The Big Chill" is one I haven't seen in awhile. I wish that the unused flashback sequence featuring Kevin Costner existed. That would be cool to see.

By the way, the photo you used for "Ocean's Eleven" is for the Rat Pack version, not the George Clooney/Brad Pitt remake. :-)

Loved yoru comment on Butch & the Kid. I saw an interview with Clooney where he said Newman and Redford were the last "real movie stars," and I think he might be right.

I haven't seen The Ghost & Mrs. Muir in ages but I loved it. Thanks for reminding me.

I have a copy of The Princess Bride but have only seen it a couple of times. Most of the movies I've seen more than once I watched because my kids made me do it.

I will have to check out some of these. There are a few I have never seen before.

The princess Bride is on my over and over list too.

Great idea for a TT. I may have to do this one day. Of the ones you've listed, PRETTY WOMAN is one I wouldn't mind viewing again (and from the beginning this time)*smile"

I don't think I've seen Princess Bride. I'm going to look for it :) You've got great movies in this list.

Oh, I love the Princess Bride. It's been a long time since I've seen it, I may need to get that one out!

The Sound of Music and Pretty Women are movies in my house that I don't watch all the time, but when I'm watching them everybody better leave me along. Happy TT!

Okay, the ones on your list I did not see more than once: The Cowboys, The Sound of Music and Ocean's 11.

The ones that are my favorites to see every few years that weren't on your list: Gone With The Wind, Big, Forrest Gump, An Affair To Remember, Edward Scissorhands, Ben Hur and, if mini-series count: Lonesome Dove, Shogun, Thorn Birds. I could go on but these are ones I converted to DVD!

Fun post - makes you think about those movies and want to see them again, lol.

Thanks for stopping by my TT on Thirteen Reasons Not to Use a Chair to Reach Things - btw, chairs that swivel are really a bad idea but I've gone there too being another shorty, lol!

Oh, whenever I think of The Princess Bride I hear Mandy Patinkin saying, "Hello, My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die!" and Billy Crystal saying, "Have fun storming the castle!"

Ditto what Malcolm said about Ocean's Eleven.

I was scrolling down, feeling very left out, because I haven't ever seen any of those.. Then I got to Oceans 11, which I really enjoyed (not 12 or 13 though) and of course I've seen Butch and Sundance many times over.

Great flicks! Especially #11. Newman & Redford always made a great team.

Sorry to be visiting so late. I’m way behind but doing my best to catch up this weekend. I’ve seen half of those more than once … but have not seen a few of them at all. Guess I’m missing out.
Hugs and blessings,
