Thursday Thirteen - To Do - Ta Dah

Here are 13 things I still have to do before my house is ready for the "Ta Dah" when I attempt to join in on this:

  1. Decorate the tree! No, it isn't done yet and this is officially the latest ever!

  2. Wrap the presents. (of course, it would help if I had my shopping finished)

  3. Burn the fireplace cleaning log so I can have a pretty fire crackling beside me.

  4. Finish getting out and setting up my nativity collection.

  5. Finish getting out and setting up my Santa collection.

  6. Hang the greens - wreathes and garlands.

  7. Bedeck the baskets - meaning Christmasify the Longaberger's that sit on top of my kitchen cabinets.

  8. Decide what I'm wearing for this scary video debut.

  9. Figure out how to get Gracie (our Rottie) to wear the reindeer antlers.

  10. Figure out how to use the video feature on my camera.

  11. Figure out how to get said video from my camera to my blog.

  12. Figure out how to get hubby to leave the house so I can do this with only ten retakes instead of twenty.

  13. Figure out how to apologize to Linda when you can't "see what I'm saying" because I can't figure out the last three things!

We never seem to get our tree up until midway through December. For the past several years I always seem to be having some kind of surgery around the holidays so my to-do list has become pretty short. I bake only two kinds of cookies instead of a dozen, for example. :)

Thanks for visiting my TT!

Good luck with Gracie. Dogs know when they are being made fun of. Mine does- but I dress her up anyway!!! The cat too and she REALLY hates it!!!

Boy, I don't even know what a 'furnace cleaning log' is! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate!

Good luck with everything!

I'm way behind on doing things too. In fact my TT is a list of things I need to do before Christmas too.

Hope you get it all done. :)

Oh, you crack me up. If you accomplish number 9, (Gracie) please post the pic. I am having some camera difficulties myself, so I'm hoping to get that all straightened out really quickly.

My daughter decorated our tree this year, which was a very welcome relief. Good luck with the technical stuff!

Good luck with your todos. I know that my 4-legged child will not wear anything festive on her head! Hope you have better luck.

Good luck with your list, remember to take some time for yourself.
We put up a small tree this year that already had lights and decorations. There was just too much to get done before our guests from Omaha Nebraska arrived.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. As a side note GrillingSpecialist.com sells the cedar smoking planks. There are six to a package. I don't know if their price is any less expensive than the ones you are using but thought I would pass that along.

We decorated the tree the Sunday before Thanksgiving and have been enjoying it every day.
