13 Things I Believe About Life

  1. Grandbabies are awesome!
  2. Pets really can lower stress or loneliness.
  3. Short of God's intervening mercy, you do reap what you sow.
  4. People often live up to, or down to, your expectations of - or opinions about - them.
  5. Lots of money and/or lots of "toys" do not insure happiness or love.
  6. You can't help people who don't want or won't accept help.
  7. "I'm sorry" is not a Get Out of Jail Free card. There are still consequences. To be forgiven you will likely need to make restitution in addition to repentance.
  8. Temptation and sin are not the same thing.
  9. A lot of how your life goes has to do with your attitude about how your life goes.
  10. Regardless of how well you plan or how careful you are, your life can change in a split second.
  11. Our families, our pasts, and our experiences influence us but we alone are responsible for who we become.
  12. Children are both a treat and a trial - refer to #3 through # 11.
  13. God will never give you more than you can handle with faith in Him. He does sometimes, however, have a higher opinion of your capabilities and capacity than you do.

Nice list...

I've heard number 13 a few times but I always disagree with it. It's my opinion that the God's and the Goddesses will give us just a little bit more then we can handle to stretch and grow our own abilities...

I haven't experienced the first one yet, but can just imagine it will be wonderful! The rest I heartily agree with. :-) Nice TT!

And I read your post below about the chocolate fish. Sounds yummy. Makes me wish I had a Red Lobster near me!

We have Next Food Network Star being taped on our dvr to watch when we get home from vacation. Now I really look forward to seeing it!

I love your TT. #13 hit me squarely. I've always heard the first part, but never the second. I love it. Great TT. Happy Friday!
