These are the beautiful blue skies we were seeing at this time a couple of years ago at a wonderful family vacation to Daytona Beach!
Wish I was there now.
The temperature here today read -13 on my way in to work!

We were 13 degrees on the other side of zero, but for this part of the world that's pretty chilly. Not a record, and it'll be colder tonight (they say) but still pretty brisk.
Nice to get a little warmth in your photos at least, eh?
-13°F?! I bet you are missing Daytona Beach. Looks like ya''l had great fun!
That looks like an interesting beach experience. How wide is the beach there, and has it narrowed?
Debbie: Fun memories of the beach, I did see your arm.
We reached -11F this morning.
Looks like a fun vacation.
Wow, what kind of people would live in Indiana? Oh wait.
Oh, that looks like a lot of fun!!
Stunning picture, thanks so much for sharing.
What a beautiful beach you access! Looks like tons of fun - but personally, I'd bring my horse! :-)
Greetings from West Africa,
Esther
Oh, your pictures are so wonderfully warm and inviting. Here in northeast Wisconsin we've had -18 the last three mornings.
Wow beautiful photos. I love the ATV ride. Managed to ride one while holidaying in South Korea. It really was so much much but can be dangerous especially when we are going up and down those slopes on the hill.
I don't blame you for longing for warmer days! That is just too cold for me! ;)
Thanks for the pictures of nice, warm weather. We really need reminders like this these days.
Still don't have a chance to ride an all terrain vehicle..
Looks fun!
Robert- The beach is very wide, probably about the width of a 6 to 8 lane highway in most places. It has gotten a little more narrow and then after the hurricanes a few years back they hauled in sand in places to build it back up.
Looks like fun memories ... especially in such cold weather. I'm late in visiting because I was away from home all day yesterday, but I shared twice ... once at Happily Retired Gal and the other at Sacred Ruminations, including a bit of Haiku as usual.
Hugs and blessings,
