Sermon in a Sentence



“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”- Mahatma Gandhi

The truth of this quote that I too often see saddens me.

It saddens me too. Non Christians for some reason think that Christians are perfect and when they turn out to be less than perfect we hear: See that's what Christians are all about.

Very true Greg. Between that,the Christians who are highly judgemental and are more concerned with pointing out the sin than helping the sinner, and those who think you can't be a Christian if you don't adhere to their specific beliefs/ideas (denominational/ political/cultural), it is no wonder people are hesitant to hear the real Message.
