Today's list ( in no particular order) is of 13 good things that happened this past week - joy moments.
- Hubby and I had a date night! See more about it here.
- I finally got the duvet and blankets washed - just in the nick of time since it got down to 40 degrees last night.
- At the Laundromat I met a couple who have been married 67 years. 67!!! Impressive!!! I know why though - she was recovering from knee surgery so he was doing most of the work and as we chatted she mentioned that they always had four loads of laundry to bring but that they'd had company and used a lot of towels. Even so, he'd told her "Nope, only four loads at a time. We'll go back tomorrow." She said she didn't know why "just four loads" but "after 67 years, sometimes you just say okay and go on." There were a couple of lessons in that little encounter.
- We found out grandbaby number three is on the way.
- Isaac had big smiles for Grammy this week. Yeah!
- There was an absolutely beautiful sunrise this morning.
- Doors seem to be opening for Hubby's new business venture.
- My Mom turns 85 this weekend and she still bowls, goes to Curves, church, the beauty shop, and as many of her great-grandchildren's sporting events as she can ever week. I hope I'm in as good a shape at that age as she is.
- I got to spend some time visiting with my sister before she "flew south for the winter."
- My daughter's friend delivered healthy twins - a little early but they are all doing great.
- I did several things this week that made me realize that my "fear" issue had subsided.
- My flag counter of blog readers hit 60 countries! WooooHoooo!
- This is my 37th edition of Thursday Thirteen - more than any other meme I've done.
